This role leads the IT Support Team to ensure professionalism in approach, adaptability in process, and continuous improvement through professional development and ownership of solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a distributed team of four IT Support technicians, providing mentorship, development, and performance management.
  • Communicate consistently with leadership, maintaining an active in-person presence with executives in the office to proactively identify operational gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the People Development Team to optimize onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Manage the end-to-end ticketing system and Jira workspaces to track long-term projects, optimize productivity, and deliver appropriate solutions while consistently meeting SLAs.
  • Cultivate a growth mentality and eagerness to adapt new technologies and approaches as we collectively learn how to deliver the best tools and services to a diverse user population.
  • Ability to travel 10–15% to provide onsite support for Tech and Sales collaboration weeks, including managing AV setups and ensuring office tech is fully prepared and optimized.
  • Own the IT procurement and asset lifecycle, managing hardware inventory, computer refresh cycles, and sustainable e-waste processes in collaboration with Finance.
  • Lead process improvements and efficiency initiatives within IT Operations, managing competing priorities with full task ownership to anticipate next steps, bridge operational gaps, and elevate the customer experience.
  • Own the team's documentation lifecycle, maintaining internal playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while creating self-serve documentation and training resources for end-users.
  • Other duties as assigned (< 10%), for example:
    • Providing technical leadership for office relocations
    • Managing contractors
    • 2nd-line support as needed for capacity or time off coverage

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in our Santa Monica office multiple days a week.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical support role, 2 years people management.
  • Strong technical background - broad adaptability to new approaches is more applicable than certifications or in-depth expertise of a singular technology
  • Strong critical thinking approach and the ability to mentor the team in the same direction
  • Experience providing technical support remotely and in-person
  • Experience in IT procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Team management experience - objective evaluation, performance management
  • Ability to support and maintain audiovisual (AV) systems and Zoom Rooms
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Familiarity with Okta, Active Directory, and user access management
  • Windows and macOS expertise - including troubleshooting drivers, conflicts, and resource contention

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$160,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.

Ads Content Understanding (ACU) owns and produces signals that describe what Reddit content is about, how brand safe and suitable it is, and what users are trying to accomplish in commercial conversations. ACU is responsible for:

  • The Knowledge Graph (entities, brands, products, and relationships across Reddit and external sources).
  • Content taxonomies such as IAB, Shopify Standard Product Taxonomy, IAS, and other commercial taxonomies used for targeting, safety, and marketplace dynamics.
  • Opinion mining for ads use cases: sentiment, stance, commercial intent, and other qualitative attributes of conversations.
  • Shopping / product understanding: detecting product entities, product categories, and product attributes in organic conversations and aligning them with shopping catalogs.
  • Signals and tags registry: a unified, governed catalog of ACU signals that powers retrieval, ranking, safety, and insights across Ads Foundations and partner teams. 

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (IC4) who will act as a key contributor to the Content Understanding roadmap for the Monetization org.

This is not a research scientist or pure DS role; success is defined by robust, shipped systems and monetization impact.  The ideal candidate is a pragmatic engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals and solid ML intuition—not a pure research scientist. This is an Applied MLE role, requiring someone who can evaluate when to leverage hosted LLMs versus custom models, help scale content understanding to new modalities (e.g., video), and drive practical ML solutions that deliver business impact. 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate across the full ML lifecycle (problem framing, data, modeling, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and oncall), designing scalable ML pipelines and championing responsible AI (bias, safety, explainability) for ACU’s models and signals in production.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MLEs and SWEs doing ML work in ACU, design reviews, setting technical standards, and uplifting the team’s modeling and systems craft.
  • Develop evaluation systems and quality monitoring systems for content understanding signals, using SOTA LM-judge practices. 
  • Drive operational excellence for ACU’s ML systems by defining SLOs, alerting, and dashboards for key signals (coverage, latency, precision/recall, cost)
  • Build and evolve content understanding capabilities for commercial conversations (e.g., reviews vs. recommendations vs. comparisons vs. Q&A; sentiment and stance; product entities and categories) and operationalize them as robust signals that power contextual and shopping ads, auto-targeting, new formats, and insights products.
  • Drive LLM and modern ML best practices within ACU: define when to prompt, finetune, or distill; design evaluation and safety harnesses; and lead at least one major distillation effort to replace external APIs with in-house models.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant MLE experience delivering production ML systems (models + pipelines + serving) at scale, ideally in large-scale content understanding domains, or Ads. 
  • Demonstrated Senior-level technical leadership: has contributed to architecture decisions, standards, and design reviews in their immediate team
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical trade-offs to PMs, DSs, and other engineering teams, especially in ambiguous, cross-team problem spaces like Seekers/Searchers monetization. 
  • Some experience building and shipping NLP / Language models / content understanding models to production (e.g., classifiers, encoders, sequence or session models), with clear business outcomes (e.g., CTR/ROAS uplift, safety improvements). Experience with commercial or intent modeling is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical experience using LLMs in production for labeling, evaluation, or distillation (e.g., LM-as-judge, prompt-based classifiers, LLM-generated labels distilled into smaller models), including managing quality, cost, and latency trade-offs.
  • Significant experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar, and production-quality code in Python (and ideally one statically typed language like Go/Java/C++). Comfortable owning training, evaluation, and deployment code end-to-end.
  • Experience designing ML systems and pipelines: offline training, feature pipelines (batch/streaming), online serving, monitoring, and experimentation for high-traffic surfaces.

We're looking for a high-caliber strategy generalist rather than a domain specialist. The ideal candidate combines structured problem solving, analytical rigor, and strong execution, and is equally comfortable advising senior leaders, working with complex data, designing scalable operating models, and leading ambiguous cross-functional initiatives. We care far more about intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and learning agility than prior experience in incentives or seller operating systems – the domain can be learned; the ability to solve complex business problems cannot.

Translate Reddit-wide commercial priorities into measurable seller behaviors, performance metrics, and incentives, building personalized goals and scorecards that align individual performance with company objectives while accounting for differences across books of business, customer segments, and market opportunities.
  • Sales operating system: Design and scale Reddit's seller operating system by building the workflows, playbooks, and guidance that help sellers consistently identify the highest-impact actions for every advertiser. Create a scalable operating model that simplifies complex sales motions into clear, repeatable execution paths, enabling sellers to leverage the right resources, programs, and best practices at the right time to maximize customer outcomes and revenue growth.
  • Future strategic projects: Partner with senior sales leadership to identify and solve emerging commercial opportunities. Lead ambiguous, high-impact initiatives from strategy through execution, building scalable solutions that improve how Reddit goes to market and drive long-term business growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Own Pinterest’s Brand Narratives function within the marketing org: setting the creative vision, quality bar, and strategic direction for our highest-impact work: event keynotes, executive messaging, advertiser positioning, industry thought leadership, and scaled B2B content.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of Pinterest’s biggest storytelling moments, including Pinterest Presents (our flagship advertiser summit), Pinterest Predicts (our annual trend report and campaign), and major tentpole events that reach thousands of clients, press, and industry leaders.
  • Partner directly with C-suite and senior executives to develop their thought leadership voice. You’ll write speeches, talking points, and narratives that land on stages around the world, and you’ll know how to listen, steer, and hold your ground when the story needs defending.
  • Drive Pinterest’s B2B messaging strategy in close partnership with Product Marketing, Business Marketing, Research, and Legal. You’ll develop the frameworks that earn company-wide adoption, and make sure they actually get used.
  • Partner with Creative Directors, writers, designers, and producers across House of Creative to bring narratives to life across formats: decks, films, event experiences, digital content, and social—always with advertisers as the primary audience.
  • Lead and develop a team of senior writers. You’ll set the creative culture, establish ways of working, and scale your own editorial judgment across everything the team makes.
  • Use AI fluently to accelerate research synthesis, streamline feedback loops, and improve the speed and quality of content development, without ever sacrificing craft, accuracy, or audience relevance.
  • Collaborate, collaborate, collaborate. You’ll work across Brand Research, Partner Insights, Business Marketing, PMM, Comms, Legal, and Ops. You’re the connective tissue that makes the whole thing work cohesively.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with deep experience in B2B, advertiser, and/or marketer-facing work—ideally at the intersection of brand storytelling and performance or platform marketing.
  • A portfolio that proves you can turn complex business and product stories into clear, differentiated narratives that resonate with senior decision-makers (CMOs, brand leaders, media leads, agency heads).
  • Demonstrated experience leading keynotes, tentpole events, or large-scale B2B campaigns for global brands—ideally in tech, platforms, or media—where storytelling and deck craft were critical to success.
  • Expert narrative and writing skills: you can move from high-level narrative architecture to line-level craft, shifting tone appropriately for big-stage keynotes, sales narratives, and executive communications.
  • Strong creative leadership and partnership muscles: you’re comfortable giving clear direction to designers, writers, producers, and marketers, and you know how to navigate feedback from senior stakeholders without losing the thread.
  • Comfort using AI tools as a force multiplier—for drafting, structuring, and iterating on creative ideas—while maintaining full ownership of the story, judgment, and final outcomes.
  • High bias for clarity and pragmatism: you can see around corners, simplify complexity, and keep teams oriented around the handful of messages that actually matter for advertisers.
  • A collaborative, low-ego partner who brings curiosity, humility, and rigor to every brief—and who’s excited to help define how a challenger brand like Pinterest shows up in the B2B space.

Within Pinterest, the Pinterest Labs organization focuses on applied ML research and development. Labs works across a broad variety of AI/ML initiatives—including core computer vision, multimodal representation learning, heterogeneous graph neural networks, generative modeling, and recommender systems. This is the group that develops the foundation ML models that fully leverage the tens of billions of Pins and the associated knowledge graph to improve the core product.

We are currently hiring for the Visual Modeling team in Labs, which develops Pinterest's in-house visual encoder. In this role, you'll work with Pinterest's rich visual-text dataset to train large-scale models from scratch that are continuously shipped to production to power visualization features. You'll build multimodal representations that power applications such as recommender systems, Semantic IDs, and a range of downstream ML models. The visual encoder also produces visual tokens that power our in-house VLM and composed image retrieval models. The core visual pod is a small group (~10 engineers) inside Labs, which allows for deep collaboration. For example, engineers working on multimodal representation also contribute to our internal text-to-image generation Canvas project—collaborating on autoencoder design or on reward function development for RL training.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Prototype state-of-the-art visual encoders that power Pinterest's recommender systems and internal visual language models.
  • Experiment with billion-scale datasets and gain hands-on experience with large-scale GPU computing.
  • Build flexible visual reasoning tools such as composed image retrieval, promptable detection/segmentation, and instruction-tuned embedding and generative models.
  • Read research papers, participate in group discussions, and help brainstorm the company's overall visual generative strategy.
  • Help collect relevant visual instruction training data that can be shared across multimodal representation, composed image retrieval, text-to-image generation and visual language modeling.
  • Publish and share your work through conferences, paper submissions, and blog posts.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Media Foundations & Delivery team. In this role, you will help transition media into a first-class citizen with a strong technical foundation and extensible architecture. You will lead a cross-functional group of Backend, iOS, Android, and Web engineers to evolve our media stack and to unlock the next phase of growth at Reddit.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Infrastructure Modernization: Lead the architectural shift to elevate media to a first class citizen.
  • Optimize Playback & Delivery: Own key success metrics related to Quality of Services (QoS), including Time to First Frame (TTFF), stall/rebuffer rates, exits before video screen (EBVS). You will define the path to ensure reliable streaming for all of our users across the globe.

Pinterest is seeking an experienced Staff Data Scientist to join our Finance & Business Operations team. This is a hybrid data-science / applied-AI / product-engineering role inside Pinterest's CFO organization. It sits at the intersection of forecasting and finance analytics, internal tool-building, and AI adoption — and the person in it is expected to operate across all three.

The core mandate is to make the CFO org's forecasting and planning work faster, be more  rigorous, and more self-serve. In practice that has meant owning a forecasting product end to end (data pipeline through user-facing UI), partnering directly with Finance, BizOps, and Core/Monetization stakeholders to embed it in their workflows, and turning the company's emerging AI platform capabilities into tools that finance teams actually use day to day.

This is a high-autonomy, high-trust individual-contributor role with broad cross-functional reach. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Own forecasting tooling end to end. Build and maintain the team's primary forecasting workbench — from the underlying data and forecast logic through the interactive web UI that planners use to create, adjust, and review forecasts. This spans baseline vs. adjusted forecast modeling, scenario/delta workflows, backtesting, and diagnostics (year-over-year and month-over-month seasonality, engagement rates, and similar).
  • Ship product, not just analysis. Design and build user-facing features: chart and visualization work, guided onboarding, history/audit views, region and time-grain filtering, performance optimization, and the kind of polish and bug-fixing that makes an internal tool feel like a real product. Instrument usage (collect and analyze raw logs) and let adoption data drive the roadmap.
  • Drive AI adoption across Finance & BizOps. Take platform-level AI capabilities and turn them into concrete, trusted tools for finance users. Bring structured business cases (not wishlists) to platform/IT partners, pilot new capabilities, and write the enablement material — walkthroughs, documentation, "where to get started" guidance — that gets non-technical teams productive.
  • Stay ahead of the AI capability curve. A significant part of this role is forward-looking: continuously read and interpret AI research (papers, model and tooling releases) and translate it into a grounded point of view on what will be possible in the next 6–12 months. Track the engineering roadmap closely, understand what platform capabilities are landing and when, and connect those dots to concrete opportunities for the CFO org — so the team builds for where AI is going, not just where it is today.
  • Set AI strategy and guide executives. Turn that capability foresight into strategy: shape the CFO org's AI roadmap, prioritize where to invest, and advise senior leaders and executives on what's real, what's hype, and what to bet on. Communicate complex AI and technical trade-offs in plain, decision-ready terms, and act as a trusted technical advisor in executive conversations.
  • Deliver recurring finance analytics. Support core CFO-org deliverables: budget-vs-actuals (BVAs), variance commentary, executive slide/deck preparation, and metric diagnostics (e.g., MAU and revenue diagnostics), including catching and resolving data-quality issues.
  • Partner broadly and communicate clearly. Work directly with Finance, BizOps, Monetization, and platform/IT stakeholders. Translate ambiguous business questions into tooling and analysis, post clear release notes and stakeholder updates, and run live walkthroughs and training sessions.
  • Set technical and analytical standards. raise the bar on rigor (validation, backtesting, sound metric definitions), make pragmatic build-vs-buy and scope calls, and create artifacts and documentation durable enough to outlive any single contributor.



What we’re looking for:

  • Strong applied background in time-series forecasting and quantitative analysis: baseline construction, scenario/adjustment modeling, backtesting and forecast-accuracy evaluation, and seasonality analysis (y/y, m/m).

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end ML solutions for player-facing problems across personalization, game systems, and matchmaking, from problem framing through production launch and ongoing iteration.

We’re hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to help drive the future of merchant presence and shopping experiences on Pinterest.

This role sits on the Merchant team and focuses on building AI/ML systems (including LLMs) that identify, understand, and surface relevant, high-quality merchants across segments—so Pinners can discover new brands with greater confidence and consideration, and merchants can reach new, diverse audiences.

In this role, you’ll lead LLM-first, evaluation-driven initiatives—near-term focused on agentic workflows, measurement, and operational rigor that strengthen Merchant Integrity and Business Integrity. Longer term, you’ll help advance core relevance capabilities such as merchant/brand affinity modeling and related signals that improve shopping discovery across Pinterest. You’ll partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Data Science, Design, and platform teams to take systems from early prototypes to reliable, scaled production.

You will also serve as the technical lead for ML in this space—reporting to a Director and acting as the first ML Engineering hire in this org—helping define the technical roadmap, establish engineering standards, and lay the foundation for scaling the domain and team over time. This is a high-agency, high-impact role with direct levers on user trust, relevance, and shopping outcomes across high-traffic Pinterest surfaces (organic and paid).

What you’ll do:

  • Own end-to-end technical delivery for cross-team initiatives—from problem framing and technical strategy through architecture, implementation, rollout, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Set technical direction and execution plans in partnership with a Director and cross-functional leads, including defining milestones, sequencing, and quality bars for the domain.
  • Build and evolve ML and GenAI systems that improve merchant quality and understanding (e.g., merchant content enrichment, attribute extraction/normalization, entity resolution, merchant/brand quality signals, and policy-aware transformations), with clear downstream impact on retrieval, ranking, and shopping surfaces.

  • Design systems with strong attention to quality, cost, latency, reliability, and safety, including guardrails, fallbacks, caching, and observability to support scaled production operations.
  • Establish the ML engineering operating model for the org (where applicable): evaluation standards, launch readiness reviews, monitoring/alerting, and sustainable ownership practices to keep quality high as the roadmap scales.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, Trust/Policy/Legal, and ML platform teams to align on goals, constraints, and rollout plans—and to turn ambiguous needs into concrete ML deliverables.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) recruiting team. Based in our Huntsville, AL office, you will operate independently as a subject matter expert, ensuring we recruit top-tier talent and shape our long-term talent strategy. As Director, Mid-Market Marketing you will own the global B2B marketing strategy for our mid-market advertisers within our SMB audience, building scalable, data driven solutions that drive retention and revenue growth. You will also lead the development and execution of account-based marketing strategies for high-value Mid-Market accounts, ensuring tight alignment with Sales and XFN partners. What you’ll do:

  • Set the vision and marketing strategy for Mid-Market advertisers at Pinterest, in partnership with XFN teams. 
  • Lead and execute key Mid-Market marketing workstreams, including building a foundational lifecycle engine (spanning email, in-product education, business site, etc) and other marketing experiments to drive retention and revenue growth, with the ability to extend successful programs to priority SMB segments where appropriate.

  • Partner with and influence executive teams and senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, PMM, Growth Marketing, and Sales to align on strategy, integrated plans, and ways of working.

In this role, your primary focus will be modernizing the data foundations that power our financial systems, while simultaneously scaling data pipelines for broader enterprise and operational initiatives. You'll establish scalable, well-architected data infrastructure and evolve our existing corporate pipelines toward modern data engineering best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Build & Modernize Core Data Infrastructure: Lead the evolution of our existing integrations toward a modern, orchestrated architecture. Design, build, and scale robust data pipelines into a cloud data warehouse, integrating data from our enterprise systems (ERP/EPM/Treasury/HR).

  • Modern Data Engineering Standards: Deep commitment to data engineering best practices, including designing highly idempotent and resilient pipelines, establishing data lineage, implementing schema validation/handling schema evolution, and building automated alerts for pipeline failures or data drift, with hands-on experience using modern orchestration tooling and a cloud data warehouse.
  • 7+ years of experience engineering data integrations and pipelines across complex enterprise ecosystems—with a mandatory mastery of data standards, governance, and security, while hands-on experience with ERPs (e.g., NetSuite) or financial platforms (e.g., Coupa, Zip) and iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato) is a strong plus.
