Breakfast by Salt's Cure Opens on Fountain Avenue in Silver Lake
The oatmeal griddle cake lands at 4348 Fountain Ave, open daily from 8 AM to 3 PM, walk-ins only. Hollywood is not going anywhere.

Breakfast by Salt's Cure is open in Silver Lake at 4348 Fountain Ave, serving daily from 8 AM to 3 PM. The rule is the same one the shop has kept since it started: walk-ins only, no reservations, no list to get on.
This is an addition, not a move. The Hollywood shop on North Highland Avenue is still open daily on the same 8 to 3 schedule, and so is Santa Monica, which means Silver Lake is the third Los Angeles location and the sixth overall once you count the three in New York.
The Griddle Cake, and the No Syrup Rule
The whole operation is built around one thing, and the shop says so plainly: soft in the middle, crispy lacy edges, no syrup required. The oatmeal griddle cakes come as a stack of three. The OG runs $10 with cinnamon molasses butter, and Blueberry with brown butter granola, Banana Nut with toasted walnuts, and Chocolate with 60.9% TCHO dark chocolate are each $12.
Gluten free, dairy free and vegan versions are $2 each, with vegan available on the banana only. The kitchen notes that it is not exclusively gluten free, so order accordingly if that matters to you. If you get attached, the griddle cake mix is $12 to take home.
Coffee is $5 hot or iced, fresh squeezed orange juice is $6, and the home fries are $5.

A Shorter Menu Than Hollywood, on Purpose
Silver Lake keeps the rest tight. The sausage, egg and cheese sandwich is $12 with sharp cheddar and aioli, the avocado toast is $14 on sourdough with walnut romesco, radishes and sprouts, the little omelette is $7 with two eggs and sharp cheddar, and house ground sausage on its own is $6.
That is a noticeably shorter list than Hollywood, which carries the fuller Salt's Cure lineup including a $16 So-Cal breakfast, an $18 smoked salmon toast, a $15 grassfed cheeseburger and a fried chicken sandwich. Silver Lake is the griddle cake edit of that menu.
One detail worth knowing: the sausage comes as pork, chicken or garbanzo. The garbanzo option runs through the sandwich and the side, which quietly makes most of this menu workable for a vegetarian.

BREAKFAST BY SALT'S CURE
Order the OG before you get clever. The cinnamon molasses butter is the whole argument, and the lacy edge is what you are paying for. Walk-ins only means go early or go at 2 PM, not at 10 on a Sunday. And if you are feeding a vegetarian, the sausage comes garbanzo, which quietly makes most of this menu work for them.
