Aziz Ansari Opens the Fall Leg of His Hypothetical Tour at the Dolby Theatre on October 7

The Live Nation run starts in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 7, then plays nine more shows across eight cities before closing in Washington, DC on October 22. An artist presale opens Tuesday, August 4 at 10 a.m. local time, with the general onsale Thursday, August 6.

Aziz Ansari is taking his Hypothetical Tour back out this fall, and Los Angeles gets opening night. The comedian plays the Dolby Theatre on Wednesday, October 7, launching a 10-show run presented by Live Nation that wraps in Washington, DC on Thursday, October 22.

Tickets move in two waves. An artist presale begins Tuesday, August 4 at 10 a.m. local time, with additional presales running through the week. The general onsale follows Thursday, August 6 at 10 a.m. local at AzizAnsari.com.

What Los Angeles Gets

The Dolby is a 3,400-seat room at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, best known as the permanent home of the Academy Awards. It is a considerably more formal stage than the clubs where stand-up hours normally get built, and it is the first date on the calendar, which means LA hears the fall version of this material before any other city does.

Ansari is one of the few headlining comedians to have sold out Madison Square Garden, so a single night at the Dolby is not a lot of room. The presale windows ahead of Thursday are the practical way in.

His most recent special, Nightclub Comedian, is streaming on Netflix. Good Fortune, his feature directorial debut alongside Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, and Keke Palmer, reached theaters in October 2025 through Lionsgate.

Every Fall 2026 Date

Los Angeles opens the leg on Wednesday, October 7 at the Dolby Theatre.

The Florida swing runs Friday, October 9 at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Saturday, October 10 at Ferguson Hall inside the Straz Center in Tampa, and Sunday, October 11 at Hard Rock Live in Orlando.

New York picks the tour back up the following week: Thursday, October 15 at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, Friday, October 16 at the State Theatre of Ithaca, Saturday, October 17 at Ulster PAC in Kingston, and Sunday, October 18 at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan.

The run closes Thursday, October 22 with two shows at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC.

The Tampa, Troy, and Ithaca dates are not Live Nation shows, so ticketing for those three runs through the venues.

Opening night of a tour leg is a different animal than a stop in the middle of one. This is a continuation, so the hour has already been through plenty of rooms, but LA is where Ansari finds out what still lands after a break. The Dolby is an Oscars room, not a club. Presale is Tuesday. Set an alarm.
