Pinterest is growing — its platform, advertiser base, and cultural footprint are all expanding. Marketing and Communications are central to how the company tells its story, builds trust with partners, and shows up for its users. The Chief of Staff to the CMO and Chief Communications Officer is a senior individual contributor role focused on the effectiveness of both executives — ensuring their time reflects strategic priorities, they are well-prepared for every high-stakes moment, and the cross-functional work that requires their direct sponsorship has the structure and momentum to land.
This role is scoped to the executives themselves. Organizational operations, resource planning, team-wide processes, and broad AI strategy and adoption for MC2 are owned by a dedicated operations function — one that the Chief of Staff works alongside in close, day-to-day collaboration. The two are designed to be complementary, with clear ownership and a shared commitment to the organization's success.
Collaboration is foundational to how this role operates. Whether partnering with the Communications team to support the CMO's messaging, working with EABPs to connect calendars to strategic priorities, or driving C-suite-sponsored initiatives across functions, success here is built on trust, influence, and the ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment.

Our Commitment to Inclusion:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company. We free people and agents to ship what’s next.
For more than a decade, Vercel has shaped how the web is built. As the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, we create products that help builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now, software is entering a new era, and the next generation of products will not just be used by people. They will be built, extended, and operated by agents.
We are building the platform for that future, trusted by companies like OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. Whether you’re building our products, supporting our customers, growing our community, or shaping our story, you’ll help define what comes next.
We're looking for a Visual Designer to join our Website Design Engineering team. Your home base is Vercel's web presence, vercel.com, nextjs.org, product launches, and Ship, where you'll design pages, systems, and interactions that get built and shipped, not just handed off. But the impact is bigger than the site: you'll shape how the Vercel brand shows up in the world, from launch moments and event experiences to motion, illustration, and brand-partnership surfaces across digital and physical mediums. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with design engineers who turn design into production code, so your work lives on the real web at Vercel's bar for polish.
This is a role for a designer who thinks in systems and sweats the details: someone equally at home setting the typographic rhythm of a landing page, and shaping how a tier-one hero feels on first load.
First and foremost, this is a visual design role. Exceptional creativity and design craft for the web are what matter most. Our design engineers own turning design into production code, and you're encouraged to get hands-on in the medium yourself and carry an idea all the way to production when you want to. Either way, we're hiring you for your eye and your ideas, and coding is never a requirement. You will report to the Director of Website Design Engineering and can be remote or hybrid across our SF, NY, London, or Berlin hubs.
If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $208,000 - $312,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.

Vercel encourages everyone to apply for our available positions, even if they don't necessarily check every box on the job description.

Pinterest is a company like no other. And this is a moment like no other. We’ve spent the last decade building one of the world’s most loved platforms. Now we’re telling bigger, bolder, more consequential stories than we ever have—especially to the advertisers and agencies who power our business—and we need someone exceptional to lead them.
You’ll be the creative director behind Pinterest’s most important advertiser narratives: the keynotes that land on the world’s biggest stages, the thought leadership that shifts how marketers think about our platform, the executive communications that give our leaders a distinct and credible voice with CMOs and agency heads, and the B2B campaigns and sales narratives that move real business. This is a leadership role for someone who thinks like a strategist, writes like a pro, and knows how to build a function that scales across Business Marketing, Sales, and Comms.
You’re right for this role if you’ve built the narrative frameworks that shape how a company talks about itself to the market. You’ve stood in front of a CMO and held your own. You’ve turned a research insight into a keynote that changed minds—and into sales materials that changed plans. And you’re ready to do all of that at Pinterest, where storytelling has always been a competitive advantage and B2B narratives are now a primary growth lever.

Within Pinterest, the Pinterest Labs organization focuses on applied ML research and development. Labs works across a broad variety of AI/ML initiatives—including core computer vision, multimodal representation learning, heterogeneous graph neural networks, generative modeling, and recommender systems. This is the group that develops the foundation ML models that fully leverage the tens of billions of Pins and the associated knowledge graph to improve the core product.
We are currently hiring for the Visual Modeling team in Labs, which develops Pinterest's in-house visual encoder. In this role, you'll work with Pinterest's rich visual-text dataset to train large-scale models from scratch that are continuously shipped to production to power visualization features. You'll build multimodal representations that power applications such as recommender systems, Semantic IDs, and a range of downstream ML models. The visual encoder also produces visual tokens that power our in-house VLM and composed image retrieval models. The core visual pod is a small group (~10 engineers) inside Labs, which allows for deep collaboration. For example, engineers working on multimodal representation also contribute to our internal text-to-image generation Canvas project—collaborating on autoencoder design or on reward function development for RL training.

Pinterest is seeking an experienced Staff Data Scientist to join our Finance & Business Operations team. This is a hybrid data-science / applied-AI / product-engineering role inside Pinterest's CFO organization. It sits at the intersection of forecasting and finance analytics, internal tool-building, and AI adoption — and the person in it is expected to operate across all three.
The core mandate is to make the CFO org's forecasting and planning work faster, be more rigorous, and more self-serve. In practice that has meant owning a forecasting product end to end (data pipeline through user-facing UI), partnering directly with Finance, BizOps, and Core/Monetization stakeholders to embed it in their workflows, and turning the company's emerging AI platform capabilities into tools that finance teams actually use day to day.
This is a high-autonomy, high-trust individual-contributor role with broad cross-functional reach.

All of this means that Pinterest Search presents a unique challenge quite unlike other search systems and the opportunity to innovate on a product that only Pinterest can build.

Pinterest brings millions of people the inspiration to create a life they love. Behind that experience is a complex infrastructure ecosystem that powers reliability, performance, measurement, and efficiency across the platform. As Pinterest grows, it’s increasingly important that we understand these systems clearly so we can make smarter decisions for both Pinners and the business.
We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our Infrastructure Data Science team. In this role, you’ll partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to make Pinterest’s infrastructure more measurable, intelligible, and actionable. Depending on the area, your work may span app performance, shopping infrastructure, metrics quality, infrastructure governance, or site reliability. This role sits on the Merchant team and focuses on building AI/ML systems (including LLMs) that identify, understand, and surface relevant, high-quality merchants across segments—so Pinners can discover new brands with greater confidence and consideration, and merchants can reach new, diverse audiences.

You will also serve as the technical lead for ML in this space—reporting to a Director and acting as the first ML Engineering hire in this org—helping define the technical roadmap, establish engineering standards, and lay the foundation for scaling the domain and team over time. This is a high-agency, high-impact role with direct levers on user trust, relevance, and shopping outcomes across high-traffic Pinterest surfaces (organic and paid).
