  • Integrate with third-party registrars and make complex workflows feel simple, reliable, and fast for customers.
  • Partner with Customer Support Engineering to resolve customer issues and reduce repeat problems through better UX, tooling, and observability.

About you:

This is a high-impact role with broad scope – your work will not only secure Vercel’s core infrastructure and products (built with Next.js, Node.js, and serverless architecture), but also influence the security of the open-source ecosystems we contribute to.

If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.

What You Will Do:

  • Threat Modeling & Design Review: Partner with engineering and product teams to perform threat modeling for new and existing features. Identify potential risks early in the design phase and recommend security controls or design changes to mitigate threats. You will ensure security concerns are addressed from the inception of features through deployment.
  • Secure Code Review: Conduct secure code reviews and security assessments on products and services built with Next.js, Node.js, and our serverless backend. You’ll uncover code-level vulnerabilities, provide actionable remediation guidance to developers, and establish best practices for secure coding across the engineering team.
  • Open Source Security Management: Oversee Vercel’s open-source security efforts. This includes monitoring and coordinating fixes for vulnerabilities in third-party open-source packages we use (as a consumer) and ensuring the security of the open-source projects we maintain and publish (as a contributor/publisher, e.g. Next.js). You will work with maintainers and the community on responsible disclosure and patching of security issues in open-source code.
  • SDLC Tooling & Automation: Evaluate, select, and integrate security tools into our Software Development Life Cycle. You will drive the implementation of automated security checks – for example, using GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) and other static analysis, dependency scanning, and secret detection tools – directly in our CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows. By embedding security tooling into developer workflows, you will help catch issues early and reduce manual effort.
  • Bug Bounty Program Management: Own and expand Vercel’s bug bounty program. You will triage and validate incoming vulnerability reports from the security researcher community, ensure critical issues are promptly addressed, and coordinate cross-team efforts to remediate and learn from reported vulnerabilities. You’ll also work on making our bug bounty a world-class, researcher-friendly program, including refining policies, scope, and engagement to encourage high-quality submissions.
  • Cross-Organizational Security Initiatives: Lead and contribute to security projects that span multiple teams and disciplines. For example, you might drive a company-wide upgrade to a more secure framework, implement a new authentication/authorization mechanism in collaboration with product teams, or roll out a security awareness program for engineers. You will act as a security champion across the org, aligning stakeholders from Engineering, DevOps, Product, and other groups to implement lasting security improvements.
  • Customer-Facing Security Support: Work closely with customer success and product marketing on security-related initiatives that impact our users. This may involve contributing to security documentation and whitepapers, assisting with customer security questionnaires or audits by providing product security expertise, and communicating our security features and best practices to build customer trust in the platform.

About You:

  • Experienced Security Engineer: You have 5+ years of experience in an Product Security or Product Security role (or related field), with a track record of securing web products and services. You’re well-versed in the fundamentals of product security and have hands-on experience finding and fixing vulnerabilities.
  • Web Tech Stack Proficiency: Strong familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js runtime security. Experience with modern web frameworks (ideally Next.js or React and Node-based frameworks) and understanding of their security considerations. You can read and review code in these technologies to spot security flaws.
  • Threat Modeling & SDLC Expertise: Demonstrated ability to perform threat modeling and architectural risk analysis for complex product. You understand how to integrate security into a fast-paced SDLC without slowing it down. Experience implementing or working with secure development lifecycle practices (secure design, code review, pentesting, etc.) is required.
  • Security Tools & Automation: Hands-on experience with product security tooling such as static product security testing (SAST), dynamic testing (DAST), dependency vulnerability scanners, and CI/CD pipeline security integration. Familiarity with GitHub Advanced Security or similar tools for code scanning and secret detection is a strong plus.
  • Open Source and Supply Chain Security: Knowledge of open-source security best practices. You have experience dealing with open-source dependencies and package management security (e.g., handling vulnerability advisories, using tools like Dependabot or Snyk). Bonus if you have contributed to or maintained open-source projects, especially security-related ones.
  • Bug Bounty & Vulnerability Management: Exposure to running or participating in a bug bounty program or vulnerability disclosure process. You know how to assess externally reported issues, reproduce and validate vulnerabilities, and coordinate fixes. You stay up-to-date on the latest vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, emerging threats) and methods to mitigate them.
  • Cloud & Serverless Security Understanding: Solid understanding of cloud architecture and serverless environments from a security perspective. You are familiar with securing products on cloud platforms (e.g., securing serverless functions, protecting APIs, managing secrets and keys). Experience with related cloud security concepts or tools is a plus.
  • Technical Leadership: Proven ability to drive security initiatives and influence engineering teams to adopt best practices. You can work cross-functionally to achieve security goals – for example, rolling out a new security tool or standard across many engineers. (While we emphasize technical skills, this senior role requires you to effectively communicate and lead within the organization to get things done.)

Bonus If You:

  • Have prior software development experience beyond security (e.g. as a frontend or backend engineer). Being able to empathize with developers and write or contribute code will help you integrate security seamlessly into development.
  • Hold relevant security certifications or recognitions (for example, OSCP, OSWE, CISSP, or notable bug bounty hall of fame entries). These demonstrate your depth of knowledge, though they are not required.
  • Experience with security policy-as-code or infrastructure as code security (for instance, using tools like Open Policy Agent, Terraform security checks, etc.). This shows you can bring security into the automation and infrastructure realm.
  • Have built or implemented security features in a product (such as authentication systems, encryption, secure CI/CD pipelines) or contributed to security community projects/tools.
  • Are an active participant in the security community (e.g., contributing to open source security projects, writing blog posts or research, attending or speaking at security conferences). A passion for continuous learning and sharing knowledge is always a plus on our team.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $196,000.00 - $294,000.00. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. Security is a critical priority for modern development teams, and we are looking for a dedicated product marketer to define the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for our security capabilities.

This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing — translating Vercel’s security value into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with technical and business buyers alike. You’ll help articulate how teams can build faster without compromising on security, while equipping our go-to-market teams to accelerate pipeline and close business.

  • Collaborate with product on sales-facing launch plans for new Security products & features, ensuring sales is enabled on day one.
  • Create industry-specific solution briefs and use case narratives that speak to vertical buyer needs.
  • Work with demand generation to ensure campaign messaging aligns with what resonates in sales cycles.

Cross-functional leadership

  • Be the go-to bridge between product, marketing, and sales.
  • Translate complex product capabilities into clear business outcomes for non-technical buyers.
  • Partner with customer success to gather post-sale insights that feed back into sales enablement.

About You:

  • 6+ years in Product Marketing, owning end to end product launches as well as competitive intelligence
  • You’ve owned enterprise sales enablement and now how to equip your sales team to win
  • Strategic thinker with a bias toward shipping — you know when to workshop and when to execute
  • Strong writer and storyteller — especially when simplifying technical products for external audiences
  • Collaborative, clear communicator who can be the bridge between marketing, product, and sales teams
  • Prioritization at scale - there is no shortage of opportunities at Vercel. You know how to analyze options, where to focus your energy and move fast to have the highest level of impact

Benefits:

  • Partner with Sales, Support, and Product teams to escalate complex issues, close feedback loops, and influence product improvements
  • Spot patterns in customer challenges and proactively recommend optimizations or new motions that improve adoption at scale

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development, technical support, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical role
  • Strong knowledge of Next.js, React, and modern web performance best practices
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting frontend build systems, serverless runtimes, and API integrations

Account Executive-Startups (APAC)

JOBS·CITY-WIDE

About Vercel:

Vercel gives developers the tools and cloud infrastructure to build, scale, and secure a faster, more personalized web. As the team behind v0, Next.js, and AI SDK, Vercel helps customers like Ramp, Supreme, PayPal, and Under Armour build for the AI-native web.

Our mission is to enable the world to ship the best products. That starts with creating a place where everyone can do their best work. Whether you're building on our platform, supporting our customers, or shaping our story: You can just ship things.

About Startups @Vercel

The Vercel Startups org exists to help founders navigate the shift to AI-native development with confidence. Startups move faster than ever—what used to take years now happens in days—and the decisions founders make early can either unlock scale or become long-term constraints. We partner with startups at the critical moments where technical, commercial, and strategic support starts to matter most.

We’re a talent-dense team made up of former founders, engineers, and experienced go-to-market operators who bring firsthand experience building, scaling, and supporting modern software companies. Many of us have sat on the other side of the table, making architectural decisions, navigating tradeoffs, and scaling under real constraints, and we bring that perspective into every customer interaction.

We operate with a growth mindset and strong shared ownership. We dig deep to understand our customers, work closely across functions as one team, and find ways to win even when the path forward isn’t obvious. Resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to push through hard problems are table stakes here.

This is a team for people who want to operate with high trust, high agency, and high impact — alongside peers who care deeply about helping startups succeed.

About The Role

You are an expert in Vercel, you have incredible pattern recognition, and are at the bleeding edge of the tech and tools defining how we live and work. In this role, you'll help startups unlock Vercel's full value from adoption through scaling—building relationships with founders and technical leaders who are making critical architectural decisions. You'll analyze usage patterns to identify expansion opportunities, coordinate cross-functional teams to drive outcomes, and guide teams as they adopt AI-native architectures. By leveraging automation and AI to maximize your impact, you'll help refine early plays into repeatable playbooks that scale across our startup portfolio.

This role is based in Sydney

What You Will Do

Full startup lifecycle: from landing net-new early-stage companies to expanding and deepening adoption as they scale.

  • Build trusted relationships with founders, developers, and technical leaders by quickly developing deep understanding of their architecture, use cases, and technical constraints
  • Landing new logos, driving early activation, and making Vercel the default choice before competitors get in
  • Driving first activation, earning trust fast, and positioning Vercel as the obvious default stack
  • Use customer signals and usage patterns to determine the right next play and focus time on the highest-leverage opportunities for adoption, expansion, or re-engagement
  • Quarterback customers end-to-end, strategically deploying Sales Engineers, Developer Support Engineers, Product, and Support at the right moments to drive outcomes
  • Own and grow a portfolio of startup customers by partnering with them as they move from early adoption to scale
  • Focus on pipeline generation, outbound, identifying high-potential startups early
  • Partner with founders and developers as they adopt AI-native features and architectures, helping them understand how Vercel’s Frontend Cloud fits into a rapidly evolving developer ecosystem and supports new workloads, performance requirements, and scaling patterns
  • Use automation, agents, and self-built workflows to operate at high leverage and focus time and energy on the most impactful customer work
  • Operate comfortably in an evolving environment, helping refine early motions and turn what works into repeatable playbooks

About You

We’re looking for someone who sits at the intersection of technical curiosity, commercial excellence, and startup mindset. You identify pattern recognition, have founder empathy, and have the ability to speak credibly to pre-seed through Series D companies and beyond who are making fast decisions.

You might be a great fit if you’ve developed this skill set through a range of paths—whether as a builder, founder, engineer, or in a technical go-to-market role—and you bring strong judgment, ownership, and curiosity to how you work.

In practice, this looks like someone who:

  • Learns complex technical products quickly and enjoys reasoning about how modern web and AI-native applications are built and scaled
  • Can speak comfortably with developers and founders, using their language and earning credibility through insight rather than titles
  • Has strong sales acumen and experience owning revenue outcomes across a range of deal sizes and complexities
  • Believes that the best revenue outcomes come from deeply successful customers, not transactional selling
  • Brings a thoughtful, opinionated point of view on modern web infrastructure, frontend performance, and scaling tradeoffs
  • Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys shaping how a team and motion evolves from early to more structured
  • Is energized by ownership, accountability, and helping customers make smart decisions

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a pure Customer Success role focused on reactive support
  • Not a transactional sales role detached from customer outcomes
  • Not a highly scripted role with narrow ownership or predefined motions

This role requires judgment, curiosity, and comfort operating across technical, strategic, and commercial dimensions.

Vercel is committed to fostering and empowering an inclusive community within our organization. Senior BI Engineers are trusted partners to business leaders and their teammates and play an important role in driving the transformation, governance, and accessibility of sweetgreen's data. They are responsible for delivering key BI infrastructure and reporting capabilities to power decision-making throughout the business. They work with data analysts, data scientists, and business partners to ensure that our business teams are empowered to take action against data.

Maintain existing Tableau reports and dashboards, ensuring they remain accurate, performant, and aligned with business needs. Implement best practices for Tableau development and usage across the organization.

BI Development and Enablement — Lead the development of new dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Tableau to meet evolving business requirements. Enable stakeholders to build their own analyses through well-designed data sources, calculated fields, and self-service capabilities. Establish and maintain documentation, style guides, and governance frameworks for BI development.

Business Partnership and Requirements Gathering — Serve as an embedded thought partner to Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations teams. Translate business requirements into effective BI solutions, deliver rapid-turnaround reporting for executive decision-making, and proactively surface insights through visualization and reporting.

Technical Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration — Act as a technical leader within the Data & Analytics team. Guide architectural decisions on BI tooling, data modeling approaches, and reporting standards. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure alignment of BI initiatives with business goals.

Data Flow Understanding and Architecture Input — Understand data flows across sweetgreen's tech stack (Snowflake, Brink POS, loyalty platforms, marketing tools). Identify data quality issues, integration gaps, and opportunities for new data sources. Contribute to architecture decisions on tooling, vendor selection, and data platform strategy.

Your Accomplishments & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in BI engineering, BI development, or analytics roles, preferably in Marketing, Growth, Product, or Consumer Analytics environments
  • Expert proficiency in Tableau including dashboard development, Tableau Server/Cloud administration, data source optimization, and governance frameworks

Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world.

Senior Principal Engineer, Borrow

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Principal Engineer with a strong background in developing and scaling cloud infrastructure and platforms. In this role, you will spearhead the design and implementation of our internal developer platform, a critical component of SoFi's technology strategy. You will collaborate with engineering leaders and principal engineers across the organization to create a seamless and efficient developer experience, enabling our engineering teams to build and deliver high-quality products at high velocity. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, developer tools, and platform architecture, and a proven track record of driving large-scale infrastructure projects. This role is inherently cross-functional and you will work closely with engineering, product, marketing, risk, compliance, data science, operations, legal, and executive teams to set forth a strategy, define, and prioritize a vision. You’ll play a critical role delivering solutions that enable our engineers to get things done while driving our businesses forward; bridging engineering systems across products and teams in shaping the broader technical architecture.

You’ll face and solve a wide range of challenges: technical, product, and operational, shaping your personal growth and career along the way.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services

that empower our engineering teams.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and pain points, and translate them into technical solutions.

• Drive the adoption of best practices in cloud infrastructure, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability.

• Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities to improve our platform.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 15+ years of software development experience, with significant experience working on cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.

• Deep expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS is preferred, but GCP and Azure are relevant), containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and related technologies.

• Strong programming skills and experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

• Full stack “operator”: ability to both create and execute the business and product strategy; with clear objectives, but limited, ambiguous, or varied direction

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Who you are:

• You are customer-obsessed and have an affinity for solving complex problems and shipping impactful features, and make pragmatic high judgment decisions without letting perfection become the enemy of progress.

• You demonstrate extremely high levels of technical knowledge, ingenuity and creativity.

• You work and play well with others; SoFi is a highly collaborative workplace and a melting pot of diverse talent.

• You are confident in asking difficult questions and challenging your team while also keenly listening and taking feedback.

• You are a voracious learner - you have the ability to quickly and independently acquire proficiency in new languages and technologies.

• You value mentorship and constantly look for ways to improve the technical depth of the individuals on your teams.

• You are open to feedback and comfortable engaging in continuous learning processes to improve how you work as well as what we work on.

The Team

Pinterest is transforming software engineering for the AI-native era. We’re evolving how engineers build, review, validate, deploy, and operate software by combining best-in-class AI tooling with strong technical standards and scalable operating mechanisms. Our AI Native Software Engineering effort is focused first on making software engineering across Pinterest’s mono-repos, AI native while accelerating existing productivity investments.

What you’ll do:

  • Use GenAI as the default operating model for EP PgM execution—producing AI-assisted first drafts of core program artifacts, modernizing high-toil workflows into AI-first mechanisms (e.g., intake triage, status synthesis, action/decision extraction, risk & dependency tracking), and synthesizing signals to proactively surface risks, decision/trade-offs, and escalation paths.
  • Prototype solutions to augment decisions through data (e.g. dashboards, data analysis) or simplify processes (e.g. process and workflow helpers, or internal tools) using AI coding assistants (“vibe coding”).
  • Follow Pinterest AI guidance for risk, governance, and safety-by-design: appropriately handle sensitive data, validate AI-generated outputs, document assumptions/limits, and ensure AI-assisted workflows meet applicable policy/compliance expectations before broad adoption.
  • Lead company-wide programs that improve developer productivity through AI-assisted coding, validation, code review, and deployment safety.
  • Drive the roadmap and operating model for AI-native engineering practices across Pinterest.
  • Independently lead complex technical programs across Ads and Core Infrastructure, partnering with engineering teams to drive planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Coordinate work across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity on ownership, milestones, risks, and technical dependencies.
  • Help drive programs that improve the reliability, scalability, efficiency, and developer productivity of Ads and Core Infrastructure systems.
  • Build dashboards, reporting, and operating mechanisms that provide visibility into progress, risks, outcomes, and execution health.
  • Partner closely with engineering, TPMs, and business stakeholders to surface tradeoffs, unblock teams, and keep critical programs moving.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning, process improvements, and scalable execution practices across a varied technical portfolio. Flex across a range of platform and infrastructure priorities as business needs evolve, while maintaining strong ownership of your primary programs.

What we’re looking for:

  • AI-first execution mindset: demonstrated ability to use GenAI to accelerate planning, program operations, and stakeholder communications—starting with AI drafts and applying strong judgment to validate, refine, and drive decisions.
  • Workflow design, AI fluency, data & insights orientation: experience turning repeatable program work into durable, low-toil mechanisms and improving decision-making by using GenAI (e.g., strong prompting, vibe coding lightweight scripts/tools, dashboards, data analysis and leveraging agents where appropriate)
  • Safety-by-design AI fluency: experience operating within AI governance expectations (risk assessment, data handling, model/output validation, auditability/traceability) and proactively identifying where AI use is not appropriate or requires additional controls.
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs in infrastructure, platform, backend, or ads-related environments.
  • Strong technical program management fundamentals, including roadmap planning, dependency management, risk tracking, issue resolution, and execution at scale.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering and business stakeholders in high-visibility settings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience using metrics, dashboards, and data to drive decision-making.
  • Technical fluency in infrastructure and platform concepts such as distributed systems, service dependencies, reliability, APIs, automation, cloud infrastructure, or developer tooling. The uploaded kits repeatedly emphasize technical breadth and judgment rather than coding depth.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments, setting structure, and driving alignment across teams with competing priorities. This is called out across both kits’ evaluation criteria and interview plans.

This is a rare opportunity to help define how software gets built at Pinterest in the AI era. You’ll shape the systems, standards, and adoption strategy that enable engineers to move faster with confidence, and your work will directly influence long-term engineering effectiveness across the company.
