Director, Marketing Technology & Innovation
About Pinterest:
Millions of people around the world come to our platform to find creative ideas, dream about new possibilities and plan for memories that will last a lifetime. At Pinterest, we’re on a mission to bring everyone the inspiration to create a life they love, and that starts with the people behind the product.
Discover a career where you ignite innovation for millions, transform passion into growth opportunities, celebrate each other’s unique experiences and embrace the flexibility to do your best work. Creating a career you love? It’s Possible.
At Pinterest, AI isn't just a feature, it's a powerful partner that augments our creativity and amplifies our impact, and we’re looking for candidates who are excited to be a part of that. To get a complete picture of your experience and abilities, we’ll explore your foundational skills and how you collaborate with AI.
Through our interview process, what matters most is that you can always explain your approach, showing us not just what you know, but how you think. You can read more about our AI interview philosophy and how we use AI in our recruiting process here.
Pinterest is hiring a Director, Marketing Technology & Innovation, the most senior technology leader within our Marketing, Creative and Communications organization. To start, you will lead a hybrid team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs), AI Solutions Engineers, and third party platform engineering partners.
This role starts as a player-coach. You will be hands-on alongside your teams, finding resourceful solutions as the function takes shape, with the autonomy to make a few strategic hires as it grows. The right person is a genuine leader and developer of people who has not lost touch with the technology itself, still knows how to build and close enough to the stack to make smart decisions and earn the trust of both marketers and engineers.
What you'll do:
Lead AI Solutions & Platform and Tools
- Own the AI roadmap and intake process for Marketing, Creative and Communications; drive production-grade AI solution development across org-wide infrastructure, team-level products, and individual workflows, with every initiative shipping with a full adoption plan
- Lead the Platform & Tools team, which owns and evolves the marketing sites platform and the full Marketing, Creative and Communications tools ecosystem; the team has established intake, governance, vendor operations, and cross-functional processes across Engineering, Legal, IT, and Security, and your role is to lead them forward
- Set the operating model, culture, and prioritization framework across your teams, managing full-time technical talent alongside offshore agency engineering partnerships.
Own & Evolve the MarTech Stack
- Own the end-to-end strategy, technical selection, and system integration of a broad marketing tech ecosystem (CRM, MAP, CDP, DAM, social management, and campaign tooling). Focus on system connectivity, API orchestration, and platform uptime, activating data pipelines managed by Data Science teams.
- Oversee event-tracking and media enablement infrastructure (including server-side tagging/GTM, CAPI, and conversion pixels), navigating shared codebases with Product, Security, and Engineering.
- Continuously assess and evolve the stack to ensure it reflects the future of marketing technology: integrated, scalable, and built to support the organization as it grows
- Manage the full vendor lifecycle: contract negotiations, renewals, license optimization, and performance management, with a clear view of total cost of ownership across the ecosystem
- Own the marketing technology budget and investment strategy, applying a disciplined build vs. buy vs. expand framework to every decision; know when to invest in something new, when to consolidate, and when to get more out of what already exists
- Partner with Legal and Security on data privacy, compliance, and tool governance to ensure the stack meets regulatory requirements across all markets
Embed AI Across the Marketing Stack
- Implement AI natively within the MarTech stack, not as standalone tools, but woven into CRM workflows, lifecycle automation, campaign optimization, and audience segmentation so AI accelerates every layer of the stack
- Tackle and execute projects such as building agentic AI workforces that automate project management functions: intelligent intake routing, automated brief generation, workflow orchestration, cross-functional task coordination, and real-time status tracking, replacing manual overhead with systems that run themselves
- Build production-grade AI solutions across the marketing organization; every solution ships with an owner, launch date, and adoption plan, partnering with the Director of Strategic Enablement to ensure full adoption and people development across the tech stack; maintain a centralized AI asset repository to prevent duplicated spend
Operate as an Executive Thought Leader
- Influence across the Marketing, Creative and Communications leadership team, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and IT; represent Pinterest's MarTech vision externally with vendors, agency partners, and technology platforms
- Serve as the connective tissue between the organization's marketing ambitions and Pinterest's broader technical infrastructure, translating business goals into architecture decisions and vice versa
What we're looking for:
Hands-on marketing experience and hands-on AI implementation experience are both required for this role, not differentiators.
- Seniority and scope: minimum of 10 years of technical leadership experience (with Director-level scope) building, configuring, and integrating enterprise MarTech systems (CRM, MAP, CDP, DAM) in environments where you defined the stack.
- Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Technical & Platform Command: Solid background in API integrations, web platform architecture, server-side tracking, CMS ecosystems, and modern delivery practices (CI/CD, agile execution).
- Hands-on marketing expertise: worked directly in or alongside marketing organizations; a genuine partner to marketers across brand, performance, lifecycle, and communications, not a technology vendor to them
- Hands-on AI implementation: integrated AI and LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) directly into marketing stacks, including CRM automation, lifecycle triggers, predictive segmentation, and campaign optimization; AI tooling alongside the stack does not qualify
- Agentic AI systems: designed and deployed multi-agent AI workforces that automate operational processes: intake routing, brief generation, workflow orchestration, and cross-functional coordination
- Data Science Partnership: Strong experience collaborating with Data Science/Engineering teams, understanding how to integrate and activate their data models within marketing execution platforms.
- Player-coach: coaches and develops people, still builds when needed, and embeds a culture of learning across the organization, not just for individuals
- Industry thought leadership: brings a recognized external perspective on MarTech and AI; contributes to how the industry thinks, stays ahead of trends, and applies that lens internally
- Technical command: strong grasp of web platform architecture, API integrations, CMS ecosystems, and modern delivery practices (CI/CD, agile, sprint-based execution)
- Full-stack MarTech fluency: CRM, CDP, MAP, DAM, social management, and the integration layer
- Executive communication: distills technical complexity for a non-technical C-suite, runs rigorous vendor evaluations, and earns the confidence of both engineers and marketers

In-Office Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.

Our Commitment to Inclusion:
Staff Salesforce Architect
As Salesforce Architect, you will be the technical backbone of Marqeta's Business Systems team, a lean, high-impact group that serves as the internal Salesforce platform team for Go-To-Market (GTM), Product Support, and Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC). This is a heavily hands-on lead individual contributor role, you will be writing code, configuring the platform, and directly solving hard technical and business problems, not just producing designs for others to build.
We are looking for someone who has genuinely operated as an architect, owning architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and their consequences for at least 2 years, not an engineer aspiring to grow into the title. You will set the architectural direction for our Salesforce platform, conduct code reviews, lead architecture and design sessions, build and maintain the technical backlog, proactively identify gaps in systems and processes, and independently drive solutions to completion. You will also be a hands-on builder: configuring, coding, and deploying complex solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and our ongoing migration from CPQ to Revenue Cloud. You will drive our Agentforce and AI strategy, own integrations with critical systems like Ironclad, Intacct, and the broader GTM toolchain, and play a lead role in ongoing security hardening of the Salesforce org.
Your work will directly support strategic company-wide initiatives, improve customer experience, and increase productivity for internal users across GTM, support, and compliance functions.
We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely in the United States, only in one of our National locations, which you can review here.
The Impact You'll Have
Architecture & Design
- Own end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Revenue Cloud (including our active CPQ → Revenue Cloud migration)
- Lead architecture and design sessions, producing clear design documents, solution options, and tradeoff analyses
- Author and maintain coding and design standards for SFDC and ecosystem applications.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce engineering best practices, security standards, and declarative-first design principles
- Build and maintain the technical backlog—translating platform observations, stakeholder needs, and audit findings into well-scoped engineering work
- Proactively identify gaps in system design, data integrity, automation, and integrations; propose and deliver solutions before they become incidents
- Conduct regular Org Health Assessments and define a continuous improvement roadmap for platform quality, security, and performance
- Own Salesforce release management pipeline, sandbox strategy, source code control, CI/CD tooling and assessment ensuring clean, auditable deployments
Development & Delivery
- Design, build, test, and deploy solutions in an Agile framework using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, REST/SOAP APIs, and platform events
- Lead the technical design and implementation of Agentforce and AI-powered automation across GTM, customer support, and compliance workflows
- Design and build integrations with internal and external systems, including Ironclad (CLM), Snowflake, and other GTM/RevOps tooling
- Define testing strategy, write test scripts, and execute tests to meet quality and coverage standards across releases
- Maintain high sprint velocity while upholding code quality and documentation standards
Security & Platform Hardening
- Own hands-on remediation of Salesforce security findings across the full spectrum, session/certificate hardening, sharing model and default access control fixes, data exposure and classification gaps, public link/OAuth and connected app governance, and secure-coding fixes (SOQL injection, XSS, hardcoded credentials, sharing violations) surfaced by code scans
- Leverage Salesforce Shield Event Monitoring to capture and analyze login, API, and transaction logs moving from passive log collection to proactive threat detection, anomaly alerts, and audit-ready reporting
- Design for appropriate data classification, access controls, and auditability across compliance-critical Salesforce objects
- Evaluate and implement platform monitoring/SSPM tooling recommendations, working cross-functionally with security and compliance stakeholders
- Implement and maintain the org's backup and recovery solution including configuring backup schedules, monitoring job health, and running restore/recovery procedures when needed
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers on the Business Systems team
- Partner with the Engineering Manager to scope, estimate, and prioritize platform work
- Translate complex business requirements from GTM, LRC, and Product Support into well-architected, scalable Salesforce solutions
- Communicate technical tradeoffs and architecture decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Lead stakeholder demos and participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Who You Are
- 10+ years of Salesforce technical experience spanning development, configuration and architecture, including at least 2 years functioning in an actual Architect capacity with a strong, defensible point of view on technical direction(owning architecture decisions and their outcomes)
- Deep hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
- Experience with Revenue Cloud or a strong CPQ background with a demonstrated path toward Revenue Cloud migration work
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, REST/SOAP APIs, and platform events
- Direct experience leading or heavily contributing to a Salesforce security hardening effort
- Proven experience conducting code reviews and enforcing engineering best practices on a platform team
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a technical backlog translating org health findings, stakeholder requests, and architectural gaps into actionable engineering work
- Experience proactively identifying system and process gaps and driving solutions to completion without requiring explicit direction
- Experience architecting and building integrations with external systems (CLM, ERP, data platforms, or similar)
- Familiarity with Agentforce, Einstein AI, or other Salesforce AI/automation capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage credibly with both engineers and senior business stakeholders
- Ability to reliably prioritize and complete work independently with minimal supervision
Nice-To-Haves
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Application/System Architect credentials or equivalent demonstrated architect-level experience
- Experience with SSPM/security monitoring tooling (e.g. Falcon Shield, Reco) or Salesforce Shield (Event Monitoring, Field Audit Trail)
- Salesforce Revenue Cloud or CPQ Specialist certification
- Experience with Ironclad or other CLM platforms
- Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, Looker, or similar data platforms in a Salesforce integration context

Total Rewards Generalist
Senior Financial Systems Administrator
About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company. We free people and agents to ship what’s next.
For more than a decade, Vercel has shaped how the web is built. As the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, we create products that help builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now, software is entering a new era, and the next generation of products will not just be used by people. They will be built, extended, and operated by agents.
We are building the platform for that future, trusted by companies like OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. Whether you’re building our products, supporting our customers, growing our community, or shaping our story, you’ll help define what comes next.
About the Role:
We're looking for a Financial Systems Administrator to join our Finance Transformation team as the day-to-day owner of our finance tech stack and the team’s resident builder for how AI transforms our work. You'll partner with our team to keep our systems running: triaging and resolving production support issues, administering NetSuite, and supporting the broader stack (Zip, Stripe, Ramp, Navan, and more) from simple provisioning requests to complex root-cause troubleshooting. You'll also become our team's SME on Serval, our AI-powered ticketing system, and own the roadmap for how we use it to automate support rather than just staff it.
Beyond the queue, this is a build role. Vercel is a fast-growing AI company, and we want our own team to work like one. You’ll help us evolve from a pure project-management function into a technical team that ships, building agents and tools that automate our workflows. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves to both keep the lights on and build the thing that means you never have to flip that switch manually again, this role is for you!
If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.
What You Will Do:
- Own production support end-to-end for Finance systems, resolving tickets to support our Finance stakeholders and the broader company, and keeping response times tight and resolutions durable.
- Administer and troubleshoot across our finance tech stack — NetSuite, Zip, Stripe, Ramp, Navan, and related tools — handling everything from user provisioning and access requests to complex, cross-system incident troubleshooting.
- Become our team's subject matter expert on Serval, our AI-powered ticketing platform — configuring it, tuning it, and identifying where it can absorb more of our support load through automation.
- Design and build AI agents and internal tools that automate Finance Transformation workflows, such as dashboards in v0, change management review agents, and backlog triage automation.
- Reimagine our project intake process end-to-end so stakeholders across Finance and the company have a seamless way to submit and track requests.
- Maintain strong financial systems controls, including role-based access, segregation of duties, change management, system documentation, and support for SOX/audit requirements.
- Support month-end close as it relates to systems, including troubleshooting and operational readiness.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal technical partners (IT and Security) when issues span systems or integrations.
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in financial systems administration and support, with deep hands-on experience in NetSuite administration.
- Comfortable owning a shared ticket queue and juggling multiple concurrent systems and stakeholders without losing momentum.
- Hands-on experience using AI tooling to build practical solutions or automate real workflows, with enthusiasm for continuing to deepen those skills.
- Solid understanding of finance business processes, especially procure-to-pay (P2P) and record-to-report (R2R).
- Able to troubleshoot complex, cross-system issues end-to-end, identify root causes, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Inherently curious; you enjoy learning new systems, poking at edge cases, and finding the more automated way to do things.
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Available to work standard hours of 9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m. IST to support PST stakeholders, with extended PST-aligned hours during month-end close.
Bonus If You:
- NetSuite certifications (Administrator, SuiteFoundation, or SuiteCloud Developer) — huge plus, especially paired with strong SuiteScript and workflow customization experience.
- Experience working for private companies that want to operate with public company standards.
- Familiarity with integrations and data flows between core finance systems — billing, payments, procurement, and close.
- Ability to read and write basic SQL queries.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation package, including equity.
- Inclusive Healthcare Package.
- Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
- Flexible Time Off.
- We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.
Vercel is committed to fostering and empowering an inclusive community within our organization. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Vercel encourages everyone to apply for our available positions, even if they don't necessarily check every box on the job description.

Discord exists to give people the power to create space to find belonging — to talk regularly with the people they care about and build genuine relationships with friends and communities close to home or around the world.
We're looking for an Analytics Manager to lead our Scaled Abuse Countermeasures and Research (SCAR) team — the team that safeguards Discord’s platform integrity. SCAR detects, analyzes, and disrupts high-volume threats through a combination of automated systems, deep research, and active incident response. This role reports to the Head of Safety Intelligence and Automation.
What You'll Be Doing

- Define a strategic roadmap that prioritizes and disrupts the highest impact abuse operations through structured research, rigorous analyses, and live experimentation.
- Collaborate closely with the safety machine learning team to improve models by identifying the threat signals that translate into long-term, automated countermeasures.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Policy, Legal, and Revenue, influencing safety-by-design decisions upstream of abuse.
- Influence capacity toward high-impact infrastructure, such as automated rule engines, ML models, or agent moderation tools.
What you should have
- 2+ years of people management experience leading technical teams, including engineers, data scientists, analysts, applied researchers, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience working in a Trust & Safety domain, such as fraud, spam, scams, account compromise or other high-volume threats.
- Fluency in SQL and/or Python for data investigation and pattern analysis.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with expertise in measurement and experimentation.
- Demonstrated ability to drive automation adoption within operations or incident response workflows that increase the team's leverage and reduce manual work.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with an ability to translate complex technical topics into clear takeaways for senior leadership.
Bonus Points
- Experience leveraging LLMs or AI agents for incident response, investigation automation, or signal triage.
- Experience tackling scaled abuse at large social platforms, marketplaces, or other high-volume consumer products.
- Threat intelligence research background, including understanding of internet infrastructure and the tools and techniques attackers use.
- A strong passion for Discord and/or gaming, and an appreciation for the communities we serve.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Manage relationships with interior design, architecture, engineering, and specialty vendors — including selection, performance, pricing, and accountability to Sweetgreen's design and delivery standards
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery of layout and concept packages and construction drawings, and lead the oversight of outside Architecture and Engineering firms so that construction documents meet or exceed Sweetgreen drawing standards, comply with building codes and health and safety regulations, and are delivered on time and on budget
- Support cross-functional goals with Real Estate, Construction, Operations, Facilities Management, and Marketing to develop effective store layouts that meet functional and business needs, meet project timelines and construction budgets, and hit annual new store, remodel, and sales weeks goals
- Partner with the cross-functional team to understand project-by-project investment costs and value engineer where possible, meeting investment targets and protecting buildout cost, durability, and unit economics without compromising customer experience or operational execution
- Continuously build operational and equipment expertise within the design team to improve labor requirements and ergonomics of the operating model
- Develop the annual operating plan, budget, and regular forecast updates, and monitor and report on studio design performance and progress toward annual goals, collaborating with Real Estate and Construction on variances in store costs and store count forecasts relative to the store development strategic plan

We are looking for a Partner Development Lead to join our founding team. In this role, you will be the central spine connecting our partner ecosystem with Pinterest’s product and commercial teams. You will drive the strategy and execution for a set of Activation (API) and AdTech partnerships, driving durable revenue growth and product adoption. You are a builder, a strategist, and an operator who thrives on ambiguity and can translate complex partner requirements into cohesive GTM motions.
What you’ll do:
- Own the Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute multi-year strategies for our Activation (API) and AdTech partners (SSPs/DSPs). Define the roadmap for partner tiering, onboarding, and long-term commercial engagement.
- Architect the Partner Flywheel: Partner with Business Development (Acquisition), Product Marketing (Enablement), and Product/Engineering to build a frictionless "Acquire > Enable > Develop" motion.
- Drive Partner-Mediated Revenue: Establish accountability for partner-sourced pipeline, durable revenue growth, and product adoption. Implement standard operating mechanisms (QBRs, scorecards, and joint business plans) to track performance and hold partners accountable.
- Be the Technical & Commercial Advocate: Serve as the internal voice of the partner. Translate partner feedback into actionable product roadmap priorities and, conversely, translate Pinterest’s unique value propositions into clear integration/co-sell plays for partner platforms.
- Orchestrate Cross-Functionally: Lead cross-functional pods spanning Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the execution of partner-specific plays that drive incremental performance for advertisers.
- Navigate Complex Ecosystems: Effectively bridge the gap between technical API capabilities and commercial sales goals, ensuring that our programmatic and agentic integrations are both technically robust and commercially viable.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in digital media, AdTech, or related technology industries.
- AdTech Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in the programmatic ecosystem, including hands-on experience with DSPs, SSPs, and API-based integrations. A deep understanding of the plumbing of modern performance marketing (tag management, attribution, measurement, and data signals).
- Builder Mindset: Proven ability to build new partnership programs from 0 to 1. You are comfortable defining processes where none exist and iterating quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Experience leading end-to-end strategy for complex partnerships, including structuring deals, negotiating renewals, and driving joint GTM alignment.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical/product topics into persuasive narratives for both internal leadership and external C-level partner stakeholders.
- Technical Fluency: Strong knowledge of API integrations, custom platform connections, and technical documentation. You can speak the language of engineers and product managers as fluently as you speak with commercial partners.
- Collaborative Leadership: Experience working in highly matrixed organizations; you know how to influence stakeholders without direct authority to move the needle on product roadmaps and commercial targets.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
In-Office Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.

As a Manager II, Technical Support Engineer, you’ll lead a regional team of Partner/Support Engineers serving advertisers and Martech/Business partners across segments — from Tier 1 partners and Enterprise advertisers to Tier 2–3 partners and SMB advertisers — and across Pinterest products and APIs. You’ll own your region’s partner and advertiser relationships, goals, and metrics, lead key programs within the team, and grow the technical and professional capabilities of your engineers — while staying close enough to the technology to guide complex escalations and integrations.
What you’ll do:
- Team leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of Partner/Support Engineers, setting clear objectives and holding the team accountable for outcomes while operating as a player-coach who can step in directly when needed to unblock the team and model excellence.
- People development: Manage performance, deliver real-time developmental feedback, and grow careers through coaching, exposure, and stretch assignments; foster a psychologically safe, inclusive environment while leading by example in day-to-day execution.
- Partner & advertiser ownership: Own advertiser and partner relationships, goals, and metrics for your region across segments — Tier 1 partners/Enterprise advertisers through Tier 2–3 partners and SMB advertisers — together with XFN stakeholders; ensure the team deeply understands partner problems and delivers user-centric solutions, while personally engaging on priority accounts and complex situations as needed.
- Segment expansion: Help scale PinTech support coverage into new customer segments (e.g., GCR, SMB) and new products/oncalls, adapting the team’s support model to each segment’s needs and rolling up your sleeves to validate and refine the approach in practice.
- Program leadership: Lead key programs within the team, defining scope, milestones, and success criteria, and actively drive execution alongside the team to accelerate outcomes.
- Escalation management: Act as the escalation point for the team, leading resolution of complex, high-severity, cross-system technical issues and helping the team recover momentum after setbacks, including directly engaging in the toughest problems when needed.
- XFN collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Partnerships to identify and prioritize the needs of tiered advertisers and Martech/Business partners, serving as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator in cross-functional work.
- Metrics & continuous improvement: Establish and monitor team and partner metrics (adoption, onboarding, product usage, quality/SLAs); review operations and drive continuous improvement through both coaching and direct ownership of high-impact initiatives.
- Roadmap influence: Relay insights and feedback from priority clients to Product and Engineering to influence the API product roadmap, drawing from both team learnings and your own direct engagement with partners and technical issues.
- Technical guidance: Stay hands-on enough to guide the team on API integrations, debugging, and data investigations, retaining strong individual technical skills and selectively diving in on complex cases to coach through problems in real time.
- AI-driven scale: Champion and lead AI-driven solutions and automations across the team to scale support and operational efficiency, while experimenting directly with new tools and workflows to model adoption.

TwoTwenty is Pinterest's incubation team. We invented Shuffles and Collages and we're the team behind Beauty Guides, Restyle and Smart Blocks. We're hiring a product manager to own one of our shipping products end to end, or to lead one of our next zero-to-one bets from a blank page to real users.
What you'll do:
-
Own a product on TwoTwenty end to end, from strategy through post-launch iteration. You'll pick between a substantial slice of the teams AI Experiences charter or one of the team's next bets in areas like generative creation tools, live shopping or AI planning surfaces.
-
Make the product decisions that separate a demo from a product. You'll decide what ships in V1, defend the cut list and set the quality bar on your surface so designers and engineers calibrate to it.
-
Land launches that require alignment with partner teams inside Pinterest (AIFwd, Search, Shop with Pinterest, ATG). You'll get to agreement without needing your manager in the room.
-
Translate a company-level thesis into a concrete product decision your team can build against. You'll be able to state your product's strategy in one sentence and connect this week's engineering work to it.
-
Run experiments that answer real questions, not experiments that produce metrics. You'll decide when a null result is a launch signal and when a positive result isn't good enough.
-
Use AI to accelerate exploration, drafting and analysis in your day-to-day. This includes prototyping concepts, comparing design options and synthesizing user research, while applying judgment and verification to protect correctness and quality.
-
Mentor at least one PM or designer on the team on the craft of narrowing a problem before writing the doc.
What we're looking for:
-
Minimum of 6 years of product management experience, including shipping a consumer product with an AI or ML component to at least one million users.
-
Experience owning a zero-to-one product from a blank page through real user traffic, not a prototype in a deck.
-
Experience saying no to a well-liked feature request from an executive and holding the line on quality.
-
Experience earning the trust of a senior engineering leader on architectural decisions, and can describe how you did it.
-
Understanding of the difference between a strategy and a plan, and the ability to state your current team's strategy in one sentence.
-
Experience using AI to accelerate product exploration, competitive analysis or user research synthesis, with a clear approach to validating accuracy and quality before decisions get made.
-
Committed to owning outcomes end to end. You treat things outside your scope as yours when the product needs it, and you don't lean on process to make decisions the team is looking to you for.
-
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, design, human-computer interaction or business, or equivalent experience.

Our Commitment to Inclusion:
Corporate/Opex Finance Manager
As Marqeta's Corporate/Opex Finance Manager, you will own a critical slice of the company's operating expense and headcount planning end-to-end — serving as the trusted finance partner to a functional leader while helping build the systems and rigor Corporate FP&A needs at public-company scale.
You'll take ownership of opex forecasting and management for your area — building the monthly forecast, understanding every driver of spend, and knowing the story behind the numbers well enough to defend them in any room. You'll own the relationship day-to-day, including the model itself and the reporting that keeps your business partner and FP&A leadership current — much of which you'll help build and improve as our systems mature — while working closely with your manager and the broader FP&A team when things get more complex.
You'll also be the primary finance point of contact for an executive-level functional leader — trusted enough to understand what they're trying to build and help them think through the trade-offs behind a hiring plan or a vendor contract. The best FP&A partners aren't gatekeepers; they're the person in the room who helps leaders find the path that gets them what they need within real constraints.
This role sits within Corporate FP&A and reports into the team's corporate and opex leadership. You'll partner closely with Accounting, People Ops, and the functional teams in your scope, and you'll routinely contribute to the materials that go in front of senior leadership — sometimes presenting them yourself. Automation is part of the job, not an aspiration: every recurring, manual piece of your workstream is something you're expected to notice and fix.
We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely anywhere in the U.S. or from our Oakland office.
The Impact You'll Have
- Own opex forecasting and management for your function end-to-end. Build and maintain the monthly forecast for your area (e.g., Engineering opex, G&A opex), understand every driver of spend — headcount, vendor contracts, T&E, discretionary spend — and know the story behind variances before anyone has to ask.
- Be the trusted finance partner to a functional leader. Sit in their planning meetings, understand their priorities, and help them structure decisions about headcount, vendor spend, and cost trade-offs. Bring solutions and options, not just numbers.
- Own your workstream's reporting. Build and improve the model templates and reporting flows that keep your business partner and FP&A leadership current, help shape the dashboards and systems as our BI tooling matures, and flag every manual step worth automating.
- Support the broader planning cycle. Own your portion of the annual operating plan and long-range plan, and run the monthly forecast cycle for your area, tying it back into the company-wide numbers Corporate FP&A owns.
- Apply GAAP fluency within your scope. Model capitalized expenses correctly for your area, and help your business partners understand how their spend is treated — explaining amortization, capitalization, and cash versus accrual accounting in terms that make sense to them. Partner credibly with Accounting on the technical questions that come up in your workstream.
- Contribute to senior leadership materials. Routinely build content that feeds board decks, exec reviews, and leadership updates — and present your own analysis directly in some forums.
- Experiment with AI to make your workstream faster. Use AI tools to speed up modeling, reporting, and analysis, and bring ideas back to the broader team on what's actually working.
Who You Are
- Background and experience. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Math, or similar); minimum 8 years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally including time at a scaled operating or public company.
- A strong individual contributor who owns outcomes end-to-end. You've run a forecast, a process, or a cost center on your own — not just contributed pieces of it — and you're comfortable being the person accountable for the numbers.
- Solid GAAP fluency. You understand capitalized expenses well enough to model them correctly, and you can explain amortization, capitalization, and cash versus accrual accounting to a non-finance business partner in simple terms. You know when a question is above your scope and needs an Accounting partner.
- Comfortable with systems and allergic to manual work. You've built or maintained dashboards and model templates before, and your first reaction to a repetitive manual task is to look for a way to automate it.
- A genuine business partner. You've worked directly with a functional leader before, you ask good questions, and you're trusted because you're useful — not because you're agreeable.
- A clear communicator, comfortable presenting your own work. You can walk a VP or a room of senior leaders through your analysis without a translator, and you write and speak in plain, direct language.
Nice-To-Haves
- Payments, fintech, or scaled SaaS experience
- Public-company experience, including exposure to board or investor-facing materials
- Hands-on experience with a BI/analytics platform (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Tableau)
- Experience owning headcount or vendor-spend forecasting for a functional client group
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows, tools, or automations for finance work
Typical Process
- Application Submission
- Recruiter video call
- Hiring manager video call
- Virtual "Onsite" consisting of 3-4, 45 min calls
- Offer!

About Pinterest
Pinterest is a visual discovery company that helps millions of people find inspiration and take action on the things they care about. Within EPD, the Security team plays a critical role in enabling that experience safely and reliably—protecting users, safeguarding the business, and ensuring the company can move quickly with the right controls in place. What is especially exciting about this team is the combination of mission and leverage: the work touches core platform health, trust, abuse prevention, resilience, compliance, and internal engineering rigor. For a Staff TPM, this creates an unusually high-impact seat at the table to help shape how Security plans, prioritizes, and executes across Product and Engineering, while partnering closely with Platforms, Trust & Safety, and Growth on some of the company’s most consequential technical and operational problems.
Staff Technical Program Manager, Security
This role is within the Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) Compliance Technical Program Management team which delivers critical & strategic technical compliance outcomes by directing and scaling engineering effort across organizational and functional boundaries. The programs they lead have most or all of these characteristics:
- Strategic importance to Pinterest
- Distributed ownership
- Complexity
- Critical technical area or platform
The ideal candidate is an experienced Staff-level Technical Program Manager with deep security domain fluency and strong technical judgment, who excels at strategically leading complex, cross-functional programs and influencing senior leadership. This person must also embrace an AI-first execution mindset, leveraging GenAI to streamline program operations while ensuring compliance and safety-by-design.
What you’ll do:
- Lead strategic Security programs that are complex, ambiguous, and multi-org in nature, with direct ownership of execution across planning, dependency management, decision-making, communications, and outcomes.
- Partner with Security leadership and Engineering Leads to run annual strategy planning, translate priorities into an executable roadmap, and define success metrics and leadership reporting.
- Drive program development, coordination, and communications across Security and key partners, with Product and Engineering as core strategic partners and close collaboration with Platforms, Trust & Safety, and Growth.
- Own the operating cadence for high-priority security initiatives, including clear milestones, governance, risk management, executive updates, and escalation paths.
- Help teams deliver improvements across Pinterest systems and processes in areas such as vulnerability management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and separation of development/production management.
- Define and improve mechanisms for program health, status reporting, and cross-functional accountability so leadership has a reliable view of progress, risk, and impact.
- Use GenAI as the default operating model for EP PgM execution—producing AI-assisted first drafts of core program artifacts, modernizing high-toil workflows into AI-first mechanisms (e.g., intake triage, status synthesis, action/decision extraction, risk & dependency tracking), and synthesizing signals to proactively surface risks, decision/trade-offs, and escalation paths.
- Follow Pinterest AI guidance for risk, governance, and safety-by-design: appropriately handle sensitive data, validate AI-generated outputs, document assumptions/limits, and ensure AI-assisted workflows meet applicable policy/compliance expectations before broad adoption.
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years of technical program management or closely related experience leading large-scale technical programs across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- 5+ years of information security, risk and/or compliance experience
- 5+ years of big data and/or cloud experience
- Proven success leading strategic, cross-functional programs in security, infrastructure, platform, or other technically complex domains.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at Staff level: owning ambiguous, company-relevant programs; shaping roadmaps and operating mechanisms; influencing senior leaders; and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong technical fluency and judgment, with the ability to understand system tradeoffs, identify technical risks early, and partner effectively with engineering leaders on complex decisions.
- Experience building metrics, health frameworks, and executive reporting that connect program execution to business and organizational outcomes.
- Strong track record of driving alignment and execution across Product and Engineering, with additional partnership across Platforms, Trust & Safety, Growth, and related cross-functional teams.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred: security programs, abuse/anti-automation, fraud or invalid traffic, account security, PCI/compliance, vulnerability management, business continuity, disaster recovery, or access/control governance.
- AI-first execution mindset: demonstrated ability to use GenAI to accelerate planning, program operations, and stakeholder communications—starting with AI drafts and applying strong judgment to validate, refine, and drive decisions.
- Workflow design, AI fluency, data & insights orientation: experience turning repeatable program work into durable, low-toil mechanisms and improving decision-making by using GenAI (e.g., strong prompting, vibe coding lightweight scripts/tools, dashboards, data analysis and leveraging agents where appropriate)
- Safety-by-design AI fluency: experience operating within AI governance expectations (risk assessment, data handling, model/output validation, auditability/traceability) and proactively identifying where AI use is not appropriate or requires additional controls.
- B.S Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.

The IT Collaboration and Productivity Engineering team builds and runs the collaboration and productivity platforms that power how Pinployees communicate, share information, and get work done. We own core SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, O365, Gemini, Jira, Confluence, Slack, and other collaboration, productivity, and AI tools, and partner closely with Security, People, Legal, and Engineering to design secure, reliable, and intuitive experiences.
As a Staff Software Engineer, AI tools, you will be the technical lead for how third‑party AI tools — such as Claude, Glean, Granola, etc. — connect to Pinterest, and a key owner of the custom MCP servers and integrations that expose our internal tools (Slack, Google Workspace, Atlassian, and others) to those tools. You will shape the long‑term architecture for secure AI connectivity, drive major cross‑functional initiatives, and mentor others in building robust, automation‑driven solutions at the frontier of enterprise AI adoption.
What you’ll do
- Own third‑party AI tools connectivity end‑to‑end – act as the primary technical authority for how external AI tools authenticate to Pinterest, where their traffic flows, what internal data they reach, and how we keep that boundary secure, spanning OAuth 2.0/2.1 and OIDC, MCP connectors and registries, SAML federation, mTLS, IP allowlisting, and edge/ingress routing (Envoy).
- Design and evolve the AI integration architecture – define standards, guardrails, and reusable patterns so onboarding each new AI vendor is fast, consistent, and secure by default rather than a bespoke effort.
- Build and own custom MCP servers – develop and operate the connectors that expose internal tools (Slack, Google Workspace, Atlassian, and more), including building new features as internal tools and AI use cases evolve, and integrating AI tools into Pinterest’s skill registry.
- Lead incident response and complex, cross‑system troubleshooting for high‑impact integration issues, driving root‑cause analysis, long‑term fixes, and learning‑oriented postmortems in partnership with Security, Networking, and vendors.
- Build automation and integrations using scripting (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar) and platform/tool APIs and SDKs to streamline connector lifecycle, configuration as code, and health/usage monitoring.
- Integrate AI tools with identity, security, and IT workflows (e.g., SSO/IdP, SCIM, DLP, logging, ITSM) in close collaboration with Security and other infrastructure teams.
- Use AI as a force multiplier for your work — for example, using AI assistants to draft code, configuration templates, tests, documentation, or runbooks — while validating outputs through tests, dry‑runs, and peer review, and maintaining full ownership of the final results.
- Lead cross‑functional projects such as new AI tools onboarding, secure transport/tunnel deployments, connector migrations, and integration‑standard rollouts from design through production.
- Mentor and uplevel other engineers by reviewing designs and implementations, sharing best practices, and providing clear guidance aligned to Role Expectations Guides (REGs), leveling criteria, and Pinterest competencies.
- Represent the team with stakeholders across the company and with external vendor engineering teams, translating business needs into durable technical solutions, communicating trade‑offs, and ensuring decisions reflect “Act as one” and “Create belonging” for our global workforce.
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant hands‑on ownership of building and operating production services or platform integrations in a medium‑to‑large environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong programming skills in one or more backend languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, TypeScript/Node) and solid software design and architecture ability — designing APIs and backend services, choosing appropriate abstractions, and building for maintainability, testability, and extension.
- Deep, hands‑on expertise in authentication and authorization — OAuth 2.0/2.1, OIDC, SAML, token exchange, PKCE — and the failure modes that come with them.
- Strong systems design and troubleshooting skills, including debugging issues that span clients, network, identity, edge/ingress (Envoy or similar), and backend services.
- Experience building and integrating with APIs and services — REST/RPC, webhooks, and SDKs — including connectors against SaaS/tool APIs (Slack, Google Workspace, Atlassian, or comparable).
- Grounding in engineering quality practices: automated testing, code review, CI/CD, observability, and safe production rollout.
- Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and the emerging AI‑connector/gateway ecosystem, and with security, privacy, and compliance controls relevant to external integrations (SSO/SCIM, DLP, access reviews). Kubernetes/EKS and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) a plus.
- Proven use of AI tools to speed up engineering work (e.g., generating code, tests, runbooks, or summaries), with a clear approach to validating outputs, reducing bias, and protecting reliability and security.
- Track record of operating at a staff‑level scope: leading large, complex initiatives, shaping cross‑team roadmaps, and owning impactful outcomes.
- Ability to lead and mentor other engineers, give clear technical direction, and partner effectively with managers, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Comfort working across diverse teams and locations, consistently modeling Pinterest’s values: putting Pinners and Pinployees first, aiming for high quality, acting as one team, and approaching challenges with a “win or learn” mindset.
