It’s now better understood as The Oaks, a Hope the Mission transitional-age-youth housing site—meant for young adults 18–24 moving out of homelessness, foster care, or other tough chapters, not as a typical traveler’s hotel.
The property dates back to 1949 and was designed as a classic motor court, with motel buildings wrapped around a central drive-in courtyard.
