This is the opposite of a glossy hotel: a private, homey Craftsman guest suite tucked into a quiet residential pocket near Culver City’s studio zone. It’s known for its koi pond, rock gardens, bamboo-and-fern greenery, and the kind of calm that works for film folks, visiting family, or anyone who’d rather hear water than lobby music.
The house was built in 2008 with a koi pond fed by two waterfalls, so guests in the back room can actually fall asleep to the sound of running water.
