Curator Monetization

Eligible Curators earn a 50/50 split on sponsorship their Guides attract. Rolling out with Raven.

01 β€” Community release

Where monetization stands today

CurationsLA is in the community release of Raven, our newest launch β€” and monetization is part of the build. Right now our team is onboarding brands and reaching out to the businesses and entities that want to help this community earn through Curator Guides.

Translation: the pipes are being connected. Curators who publish great Guides today are building the traction that makes them eligible when sponsorship dollars start flowing.

02 β€” The split

How Curators earn

Eligibility is earned through traction. The Guides that get saved, shared, and followed are the Guides brands want to be part of β€” and the Curators behind them become eligible for monetization.

When a collaboration or advertisement runs on an eligible Curator Guide, CurationsLA splits the revenue 50/50 with the Curator. Half to the person who curated the taste, half to the platform that built the stage. Simple math, on purpose.

The model

Collaborations and advertisements run on Curator Guides. Eligible Curators take a 50/50 split. The public directory stays clean β€” sponsorship lives in editorial Guides, never in listings.

03 β€” Get involved

For brands β€” and for the community

Brands and entities interested in sponsoring Curator Guides: we are actively onboarding partners for this release, and the earliest conversations shape the best placements. Reach out at [email protected].

And because CurationsLA is community-driven: we have a plan, and we want your fingerprints on it. If you have ideas on what Guide monetization should look like β€” formats, splits, what feels right and what feels off β€” tell us at [email protected]. The best version of this gets built with the community it pays.
