What we will never sell
Directory placement is not for sale. No restaurant, venue, stay, business, or neighborhood page on CurationsLA got there by paying us — and none ever will. Editorial judgment and community relevance decide what appears in the directory. Money does not.
Sponsorship lives in clearly marked editorial surfaces: Curator Guides, the VIBES newsletter, and campaign placements. When something is sponsored, you will know.
Why the line exists
Reader trust is the entire product. The moment a listing can be bought, every listing becomes suspect. So the directory stays clean — full stop.

CurationsLA is a family-friendly platform, and our sponsor standards match. Every advertiser is reviewed for brand safety before anything runs.
- No political advertisements — campaigns, candidates, and ballot measures do not run here.
- No advocacy causes — sponsorship is for businesses and events, not persuasion.
- Brand-safe only — advertisers that are not brand safe are declined.
- Family-friendly always — if it cannot run in front of the whole community, it does not run.
