THE MIDSUMMER MASQUERADE: SCANDAL-INSPIRED IMPROV, INCOGNITO

An evening of elegant buffoonery. Comics don masks and evening dress to improvise scenes inspired by scandalous stories. You are cordially invited.

We have the distinct honor of inviting you to The Midsummer Masquerade, a night of live comedy unlike anything in Los Angeles. Join us not just for an improv comedy show, but for a night of unparalleled sophistication and unmatched imbecility.

This evening is entirely unscripted and created on the spot by the best comedians in LA with the help of your most scandalous stories. Upon entering, you will be provided with a masquerade mask. Throughout the show we will ask three audience members to share their most salacious stories of scandal. (Fear not, this doesn’t have to be a scandalous story involving you, personally, and the storytellers are free to anonymize the story’s characters however they’d like.) Should you be so kind as to share a story, we will use it as the inspiration for the show. You are more than welcome to join in the fun and attend in whatever evening dress means to you—but this of course optional—as simply by attending you’ve already proven yourself the most elegant revel-goer in Los Angeles.
