CATALINA JAZZ CLUB is thrilled to have the Grammy nominated pianist and KJAZZ host DAVID BENOIT return for two nights, June 5th and 6th at 8:30PM. Benoit has charted over 25 albums since 1980 and has been nominated for three Grammy Awards.
Benoit has participated both as performer and music director for the later animated adaptations of the Peanuts comic strip, such as the feature film, The Peanuts Movie, restoring Guaraldi's musical signature to the franchise. David Benoit currently hosts a morning radio show on KKJZ 88.1 FM, CA, and continually tours & records and is composer in residence at Montalvo Arts, the Music Director a & Conductor for the Asia America Symphony Association.
