### 🏄 ADVISORY WAVES: BEACH ADVISORY UNTIL SATURDAY

**Los Angeles County has issued an ocean water quality rain advisory for every county beach following current rainfall, with the notice in effect through at least 3:00pm Saturday, October 24.** Public Health advises beachgoers to avoid swimming, surfing, and other water contact for at least 72 hours after rainfall because runoff can raise bacteria levels. Extra caution is recommended near flowing storm drains, creeks, and rivers, as well as runoff pooling on beach sand. The advisory may be extended if more rain falls, and current conditions are available through the county’s beach water quality map. The NWS graphic below covers separate surf + rip-current hazards through late Thursday night.

The fleet is expected to reach 2,000 e-bikes by the final year of the three-year contract. Pricing is still being determined, but the lower-cost Bikeshare for All program will continue, existing rider agreements will remain valid, and users can expect an app update.
