## LEGACY · Alhambra Historical Society’s Legacy and the Story House

Founded in 1966, the Alhambra Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to researching, preserving, and sharing the city’s unique past. Its museum, housed in an eleven-room facility at 1550 West Alhambra Road, holds more than 400 envelopes of photographs dating back to the 1880s, historic telephone directories, city directories, and high school yearbooks. After his death, the house remained a private residence until the Society received it as a gift in 2024.
