# For Freedoms

For Freedoms is an artist-led organization deepening civic engagement by centering artists as essential to shaping a free and pluralist society. Through a decentralized network of artists, institutions, and communities, For Freedoms cultivates the conditions for collaboration, civic inquiry, and collective imagination. Their work recognizes creative labor as a powerful form of civic participation, opening space for more complex and nuanced ways of seeing and relating to one another. Since 2016, For
Freedoms has partnered with 1,500+ artists and 800+ organizations and produced 750+ activations across all 50 states, U.S. territories, and internationally. Spanning cultural investment and public
engagement, their initiatives strengthen civic dialogue and broaden the public imagination, fostering a more inclusive and participatory cultural landscape.

About the event: 
AMERICA(!) THE BEAUTIFUL(?) takes place Saturday, October 3, 2026 at The Ford in Los Angeles, produced in partnership with The Ford as part of its FordLab Producers Program Series. Gates open at 6:30PM and the performance begins at 8:00PM, featuring aja monet (headline), Marc Bamuthi Joseph, Xiuhtezcatl, and Kai the Universe. The evening is supported in part by the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture. Tickets are on sale now at theford.com.
